Catena is a powerful tool that includes the ability to analyze video, identifying
waste and capturing actions to eliminate that waste. However, without a clear cut
plan time will soon be wasted performing more analysis than is needed or finding
that required analysis has not been finished. The Video Matrix is a project
management tool that documents and tracks all of the Process and Activity
Analyses that need to be completed as part of the project.
The data to populate the Video Matrix will be a function of the Value Stream
Mapping and PQ Analysis. These tools will help you determine what needs to be
captured on video and analyzed.
