When you create a new Catena project, a series of files and folders are created
to store project data. For use by a single user, a project can be created on a
local computer hard-drive. However, if you wish to access the data from multiple
workstations, it is recommended that you create the project on a Windows
Network shared drive mapped to a common drive letter.
To set-up your project data files and folders, perform the following steps.
1 Start Catena by double clicking on the desktop icon or selecting Start |
Program Files | Catena | Catena from the start menu.
2 Click on the Create New Project button.
3 Navigate to the location where you wish to store the project and then type in a
Project Name in the File Name field.
4 Click Save. This will create a folder in the location with the name of your
Project. Inside this folder will be your Catena data file (.CNA) and a set of
ToolKit folders for other project data.
5 Once
Catena creates the project folders and data, it will open the project and
display the Privilege Level user access screen.
