After installation, Catena will function in trial mode for 30 days. To continue using
it, you will need to authorize the software using a serial key provided by OpEx
Software LLC. To authorize the software, perform the following steps.
1 Start the program via the Start Menu or double clicking on the desktop icon.
2 From the file menu, select Help | Licensing.
3 Click the “Activate On-Line” button.
4 Click Next at the Activation Wizard screen.
5 Enter your pre-paid serial number at the prompt and then click Next.
6 The wizard will then send this number to the OpEx licensing server to obtain a
site key corresponding to your feature set level.
If you are having trouble with this step, ensure your
firewall will allow
the application access to traffic over port 80.
7 Click Finish.
8 Catena will automatically apply the site key and update the licensing terms
and features.
9 Click OK to dismiss the “success” dialog box.
Should you ever wish to deactivate Catena and remove the license from the
computer, click “Deactivate” and email the resulting deactivation code to
catena@opex1.com.
If you are having trouble with this step, ensure your
firewall will allow
the application access to traffic over port 80.
